Pan Pacific Perth
207 Adelaide Terrace
Perth WA 6000
Location
Located on the edge of Perth's CBD, we chose to stay at Pan Pacific Perth because we had Discovery Dollars that were expiring. Apart from that, Pan Pacific Perth underwent a huge renovation which completed in 2025 and we were excited to see the uplifts to the hotel. The hotel itself is near the Swan River and a 4 min walk away from the Supreme Court Gardens as well. It is on the quieter end of the CBD but walking to the city took us only about 10 minutes.

Our Stay
Our stay started before arriving in Perth. We had received an email a few days prior to acknowledge our GHA Titanium status and also to offer us a choice for our welcome amenities as well as options for airport transfers. It was really a nice touch to receive a note prior to the stay. Sometimes I feel like hotel experiences can feel really sterile, even at the top end of the hotels and this little touch made it feel like we were welcomed even before we arrived.
These were the benefits being GHA Titanium:
Complimentary Upgrade
Early Check In
Late Check Out (4pm)
Daily Breakfast
Welcome Amenities

We were given a room upgrade from a Deluxe Room (259 sqm) to a Premier Room (301 sqm), which was around 30 AUD in value. The room itself had a comfortable autumn vibe, very outback colour tones. It was definitely comfortably spaced with an additional couch area tucked near the windows. A small touch of inconvenience was that the toilet was very compact, which is often really strange especially when the room is spacious. We found it almost impossible to keep the floor mat on the floor if you wanted access to the bathroom door. Minor inconvenience but it did not impact our stay.
Our view of the Swan River was gorgeous. Whilst it was not direct facing, we had a nice view of the city in the background and Perth was definitely putting on a beautiful display of its winter sun the whole time we were there.
We utilised our late check out benefit here and as we have done in the past, we will continue to use 10 % of hotel rate to put a value of this 4pm late check out benefit, which works out to be 30 AUD in value.

Facilities
Pan Pacific Perth has a spacious gym that is in the basement. When we first got in, it felt like a gym from the 90s without a window and bright blue mats. However, it is a spacious gym with a good selection of equipment to choose from. Not the kind of gym you get a beautiful view from, but a very functional one. There was also a small spa area adjacent to the gym which was rather old and small. We did not use it during our time there.

Breakfast
Monty's restaurant serves as the hotel's breakfast venus and it open between 0630 and 1030. There is a small buffet selection that has salads, yoghurts, fresh fruits, charcuterie, bacon and eggs as well as a rotating asian section. The food was good quality and we enjoyed our breakfast selection, especially having barista made coffee. As usual, we value breakfast at the local rate at a cafe, which would be 30 SGD x 2 pax.
Overall
I think that GHA Discovery has one of the best value hotels around. At a paying rate of 300 AUD per night and being offered free upgrades, free breakfast and 7 % discovery dollars back each stay, it becomes extremely competitive. For this stay, our saved around 120 AUD on a 300 AUD stay, which is incredible value. On top of that we also received 21 AUD back after the stay for the next stay. For this price, it is very hard to beat.
Would We Recommend?
Yes! One of the things we really needed to commend the team at Pan Pacific Perth, was the fact that they recognised service over procedure. We arrived at 1 am at the hotel, and when we were there, the front desk team prioritised an immediate room assignment so that we could get some rest and deferred administrative procedures to the next morning. This for us is a commitment to guest comfort and we really appreciated the team for doing this. Similarly, we mentioned during check out that I had lost an item and had checked the room for it but would have appreciate if the housekeeping team found it to contact us. The manager on duty immediately came over to assist and call the house keeping team to keep an eye out of the item. It was again another example of putting service ahead and I truly appreciated this. During our stay we also met a concierge who was part of the golden keys. We have seen some golden keys at some of the best hotels in the world, so it is always a delight spotting a golden key where you dont expect it. On digging deeper, we found that Pan Pacific Perth has not 1 but 2 golden key concierges. Perhaps this is the reason and the standard that Pan Pacific holds itself again and therefore we had such an excellent service by the team during our stay.
The hotel itself was good and it was a generally good stay. Whilst Pan Pacific cannot really compete with the luxury that other brands provide like Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton, I think it stands out from the rest in terms of service. For that reason I would definitely stay again.
