Cafe de la Paix is absolutely gorgeous. It is opulent, beautiful and showcases Parisian grandeur. The food is of fantastic quality and the ambience is special. We would definitely visit again.

Berthillon, the family run artisanal ice cream shop in Paris is considered the gold standard and an icon in Paris. Founded in 1954 by Raymon Berthillon, Berthillon remains a family run establishment which has become a Parisian institution.

Located just outside of Bordeaux city, is Les Halles de Bacalan, a modern food hall that opened in 2017 and has quickly become a favourite amongst locals and travellers. It was a little of a foodie paradise for us and we were glad we were able to find some time before visiting Cite du Vin to visit this food hall.

The No Diet Club Bordeaux Food tour is a fantastic way to get oriented around Bordeaux if it is your first time. It is also a great way to speak to someone local and understand the history of Bordeaux as a port city and how that influenced the cuisine around.
