Adventures in Bordeaux, La Cite du Vin
The exhibition at La Cite Du Vin Bordeaux was incredibly well thought out and there was something for everyone, regardless of age or prior wine knowledge. The exhibits were interactive and the audio guides worked very well. We learnt so much about wine, including impacts of climate change, the harvesting process, the varietals, the irrigation techniques through into experiencing the scents and smells.

Les Bassins des Lumieres was not just another art projection. It was breathtaking, immersive and unforgettable. Digital art of masters in a WWII submarine bunker - thats a perfect example of intersection of past and present. It was as educational as it was fascinating.

Located just outside of Bordeaux city, is Les Halles de Bacalan, a modern food hall that opened in 2017 and has quickly become a favourite amongst locals and travellers. It was a little of a foodie paradise for us and we were glad we were able to find some time before visiting Cite du Vin to visit this food hall.
