Musee Marmottan Monet in Paris
Musee Marmottan Monet is not one of those large museums. However, it has a spectacular collection and remains a very intimate place to explore the pieces of Monet. If you love impressionism and you love Monet's art, this is a great museum to be in. I thought it was a great supplement to Giverny to see some of how his works evolved and his inspiration translated.

Adventures in Bordeaux, La Cite du Vin
The exhibition at La Cite Du Vin Bordeaux was incredibly well thought out and there was something for everyone, regardless of age or prior wine knowledge. The exhibits were interactive and the audio guides worked very well. We learnt so much about wine, including impacts of climate change, the harvesting process, the varietals, the irrigation techniques through into experiencing the scents and smells.

Les Bassins des Lumieres was not just another art projection. It was breathtaking, immersive and unforgettable. Digital art of masters in a WWII submarine bunker - thats a perfect example of intersection of past and present. It was as educational as it was fascinating.

Located just outside of Bordeaux city, is Les Halles de Bacalan, a modern food hall that opened in 2017 and has quickly become a favourite amongst locals and travellers. The No Diet Club Bordeaux Food tour is a fantastic way to get oriented around Bordeaux if it is your first time.
