Our favourite pasta restaurant in Melbourne is Tipo00. There is always a line and it is getting incredibly difficult to get a spot at this restaurant without pre-planning. But I have to say that the pasta is truly fantastic. The name"Tipo00" is also the finest milled type of flour available in Italy that is used in pasta making which makes a super smooth, elastic and silky dough for fresh egg pasta.

TarraWarra Estate Restaurant is located in Yarra Glen and was awarded 1 Chef Hat this year. In total, TarraWarra Estate Restaurant currently holds a total of 13 Chef Hats.

We visited the 3 Chef Hatted Amaru in Armadale, Melbourne. Amaru currently sits with a total of 19 Chef Hats and by definition of the Australian Good Food Guide, puts it in the category of "Superlative Food and Wine: Internationally Acclaimed" and worth a special journey. Similar to what you would expect from a 3 Michelin Starred restaurant.

Alma by Juan Amador is located within the historic Goodwood Park Hotel on Scotts Road just on the right side of the main entrance. Currently, holding 1 Michelin Star, Alma by Juan Amador is led by Chef Yew Eng Tong since late 2023 after Juan Amador's departure. Chef Yew has worked under big names like Christian Bau at Victor's Dining as well as The Jane in Antwerp and is now bringing modern European dishes and infusing them with Asian ingredients and techniques to Alma by Jua

Would we recommend? Absolutely yes yes and yes! Thai produce and Thai cuisine is fantastic, but Chef Tam was able to build on that with exceptional finesse. Every bite was oozing with delicate flavours, well balanced and just exceptional. When i think back of the best meals I have had, this one always come into mind and I do think that Baan Tepa will do amazing things in the future.

At the helm of this tight ship is Chef Chumpol Jangprai. R-HAAN has 2 Michelin stars and is the place to go for a refined classic Thai meal.
